Job Description

Ate Tester Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled ATE testing specialist to define manufacturing test flows and methodologies for ASIC/SoC to meet customer and quality requirements.
  • Expertise in one of the ATE platforms like Teradyne ETS800 / ETS88 / ETS364 / Advantest V93K, T2K is mandatory. Understanding of statistical analysis of test data will be an added advantage.
  • The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional R&D teams to finalize the manufacturing test requirements for each of the test phases including the pass/fail criteria for a given product.
  • He/She will drive the new product migration from R&D to High Volume Manufacturing Phase, support technical issues and coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Key responsibilities include monitoring product yield, test time, and DPPM, providing technical solutions for yield improvement, TTR, and DPPM reduction, and developing detail plans and driving their implementation with R&D and factory personnel.
  • Additionally, the successful candidate will assist team members in line with the changing dynamics of the product deliverables, represent the Product Engineering function in various technical and functional forums, and work with teams in different time zones if required.
  • The role involves defining product DFT and test requirements Pre-PG, including translating PRD/MRDs into PTS/SCMs/PRPs for ATE test-plan definition, designing ATE HW for lowest cost solution, and bringing up Si validation.
  • Post-Si bring-up and validation of all functional and test features require extensive debug that will need good knowledge of IC design and semiconductor physics, with the ability to clearly isolate and root-cause issues to design margins and/or sensitivities to wafer-fab process and parametric parameters.
  • The successful candidate will also execute design-of-experiments with process window corner lot to establish spec compliance of each product across full wafer-fab process window, and execute qualification cycles for Si and package to automotive, industrial, and commercial standards as per the primary product market.
