Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled accounting professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial analysis, account reconciliation, and journal entry preparation.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare monthly journal entries for various accounts, including cash, payroll, benefits, prepaid, expense allocations revenue, and accruals.
  • Account Reconciliation: Record and review account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, with a strong understanding of Blackline tool.
  • Journal Entry Preparation: Independently prepare and book standard and non-standard JEs, using relevant account codes.
  • Supporting Documentation: Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for all journal entries.
  • Bank Statement Reconciliation: Prepare bank statement reconciliations and perform detailed reviews of trial balances.
  • Monthly Close Activities: Participate in month-end close activities, including trial balance reviews, variance analysis, and commentary updates.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including journal entries, reconciliation schedules, and variance reporting.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or MBA with specialization in Accounting/Finance.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP, hands-on experience with financial software, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
