Overview

We are seeking a Cloud Experience Delivery Lead to join our Azure Customer Experience Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving growth in one of Microsoft's core businesses.

Azure provides customers with on-demand and infinitely scalable infrastructure and platform for customers to build, host, and scale service applications on the Internet through Microsoft's global data centers.

FastTrack for Azure (FTA) helps customers onboard Azure, getting them on track to "build it right, architect it right, the first time". We aim to engage and learn from the customer experience to drive positive change in our platform.

Our team is looking for an individual who brings great teamwork, positive attitude, leadership, and engineering excellence to our customer-focus team chartered with enabling a world-class experience for Microsoft Azure cloud platform customers.

Qualifications

  • You should have real day-to-day external customer-facing experience and empathy.
  • You should have a keen ability to communicate ideas effectively with engineers and engineering teams.
  • You should have proven skills and abilities to consistently create an amazingly positive experience for customers.
  • You should have a track record of constant learning.
  • You should be a strong team player.
  • You should have a bias for action.

Technical Experience

  • You should have an understanding of Azure fundamentals, such as Governance, Security & Monitoring.
  • You should have practical hands-on experience in Migrating applications from on-prem to Azure PaaS offerings.
  • You should have Azure architecture skills.
  • You should have experience with and ability to lead customers with two or more of the following:Azure AIApplication modernisation using Azure technologies such as (App Service, Storage, ASE, CDN)Containers on Azure (AKS, ACS) Integration using Azure Integration services (APIM, Functions, Service Bus, Logic Aps, Event Grid etc) Application Security on Azure (WAF, FrontDoor, Private Networking, Sentinel)

Customer Facing Experience

  • You should have experience working with enterprise customers on Azure specific application development and deployment.
  • You should be able to communicate effectively with corporate customers, possess an understanding of the onboarding process and demonstrate a vision for the future of Microsoft support.
  • You should have excellent customer service skills, good oral and written communication skills, proven ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations involving the most critical and politically charged customer situations; to lead projects and to motivate others.
  • You should have consulting and/or delivery experience.
  • You should have understanding of Customer Experience as a discipline.

Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

This role requires meeting Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements which include specialized security screenings.
