We are seeking a seasoned Assistant Project Manager to spearhead Online Banking and Mobile Banking projects in financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive project experience, software development skills, and over 5 years of experience.

The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, communicating, and executing projects with high-quality deliverables, ensuring timely completion and meeting budget targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing work breakdown structures with detailed costing information
  • Guiding and reviewing documentation, including requirements documents, functional specs, and technical design documents
  • Capturing and managing scope of change requests
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
  • Actively reviewing project teams' artifacts and documents
  • Presenting similar projects and related products to prospects during visits
  • Preparing training materials and conducting trainings
  • Communicating project information through presentations, daily huddles, project boards, and steering committee meetings

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering Online Banking and Mobile Banking projects in financial institutions
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum, Waterfall, and other Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Project, project planning, and execution
  • Test management practices, test planning, test monitoring, control, and governance
  • Exceptional presentation skills, ability to present information on PowerPoint, narrate, and explain senior stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of processes, preferably PMP, CSM, and CMMI qualified
  • Experience managing large-scale enterprise projects in the finance industry
  • Great interpersonal skills, communication, presentation, negotiation, persuasion, escalation management, conflict management, and strong organizing ability

Experience & Qualifications:

  • More than 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Banking experience is an added advantage
  • BSCS / BSSE / MSCS / MSSE degree or equivalent
  • Any certification will be an added advantage
