Lead Technical Delivery Expert

We are seeking a seasoned technical leader to oversee the delivery of high-impact systems in capital markets technology. The successful candidate will have strong financial markets domain expertise and a proven track record in large-scale delivery of trading, risk, funding, and liquidity platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead end-to-end delivery of Treasury & Markets technology initiatives across global teams.
  2. Drive planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder reporting for large-scale programs.
  3. Govern agile teams across engineering, QA, DevOps, and data streams.
  4. Ensure delivery excellence in resiliency, scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.

Hands-on Program Management:

  1. Stay involved in execution – architecture reviews, dependency management, release planning, cutover management.
  2. Drive modernization of legacy Treasury & Markets platforms (monolith-to-microservices, cloud migration, data streaming).
  3. Implement best practices in Agile/Scaled Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native delivery.

Solutioning & Modernization:

  1. Partner with stakeholders to define target state architectures.
  2. Shape modernization roadmaps in microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, real-time data, and cloud.
  3. Oversee vendor platforms and internal builds.

AI & Productivity Enablement:

  1. Champion the use of AI tools for engineering acceleration (rapid prototyping, test automation, code refactoring).
  2. Explore AI-driven approaches for program monitoring, predictive delivery analytics, and risk alerts.

People & Stakeholder Management:

  1. Build and manage high-performing delivery teams.
  2. Partner with global CIO/CTO and regulators to align delivery with business outcomes.
  3. Manage vendors and offshore/onshore delivery partners.

Key Qualifications:

  1. 15+ years of experience in software delivery for BFSI (with at least 7–10 years in capital markets / treasury systems).
  2. Strong track record as Delivery Director / Head of Delivery / Program Director in Sell-side / Buy-side / Treasury tech.
  3. Deep expertise in delivery of mission-critical systems: Treasury, ALM, Risk, MM, FX, Fixed Income, Funding, or Investment Platforms.
  4. Hands-on experience with modernization projects: microservices, APIs, cloud-native, containers, real-time data pipelines.
  5. Solid grounding in engineering + solutioning – not just governance, but able to dive into delivery challenges.
  6. Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering and use of AI for delivery productivity.
  7. Strong global stakeholder management.
