Job Title: Creative Software Architect

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled software engineer to join our team in the Investment Bank. As part of this exciting digital transformation initiative, you will have the opportunity to design and build the next generation of business applications using the latest technologies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the development of new platform capabilities that enable real-time processing, analytics, and structured workflow.
  • Providing technology solutions that solve complex problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services.
  • Interacting with stakeholders in cross-functional teams to ensure we deliver the right solutions.
  • Contributing to skill-aligned chapter constructs working across the Digital Operations platform to ensure we build solutions correctly.
  • Providing technical expertise and recommendations for new software projects and initiatives.
  • Conducting code reviews and testing software, as well as participating in application architecture and design phases of the SDLC.

You will be working with a highly motivated and talented group where innovation is encouraged and expected. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop best-in-class solutions alongside cross-team collaboration with like-minded experts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Java software engineer.
  • Strong skills in Core Java, Collections, and Java 8 features such as Lambda Expressions and Streams.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Framework (Core / Boot / Integration).
  • Good knowledge of design patterns applicable to data streaming.
  • Experience with Apache Flink/Apache Kafka and the ELK stack is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Flowable or similar BPMN/CMMN tooling is also highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular/JavaScript/React/Redux.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like TeamCity/Jenkins, Git/GitHub/GitLab.
  • Familiarity with Docker/containerization technologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.
  • Proven track record in agile SDLC in a large-scale enterprise environment.
