Job Title: High-Tech Software Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking an expert software engineer with a strong background in developing complex applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and deploying scalable software solutions.

  • Taking ownership of software projects from inception to deployment.
  • Collaborating with product teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Analyzing functional and technical requirements, translating them into software architecture and design specifications.
  • Designing, developing, and implementing applications, including custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
  • Developing and executing unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to ensure software quality.
  • Conducting code reviews to maintain code quality and alignment with standard methodologies.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation on software architecture, design, deployment, disaster recovery, and operations.
  • Providing ongoing support and maintenance for software applications, ensuring smooth operation and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree or Master's degree with 4-6 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, Computational Chemistry, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, Computational Chemistry, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, or related fields.
  • Diploma with significant experience in Computer Science, IT, Computational Chemistry, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

The following qualifications and experience are highly desirable:

  • 3+ years of experience in implementing and supporting biopharma scientific software platforms.
  • Some experience with machine learning or generative AI technologies.
  • Proficiency in Java or Python programming languages.
  • Proficiency in at least one JavaScript UI Framework (e.g., ExtJS, React, or Angular).
  • Experience with event-based architecture and serverless AWS services such as EventBridge, SQS, Lambda, or ECS.
