About the Role

This position focuses on developing optimized solutions and accurate technical proposals for HVAC equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with the products team to provide pre-sales support, including system configuration validation, HVAC equipment selection, and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pre-sales support on HVAC equipment, including reading specifications, selecting equipment, and preparing final quotes.
  • Lead the process for application specifications and ensure sales teams receive the best solution as per requirements.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to develop engineered equipment submittals.
  • Follow standardized submittal generation guidelines for preparation and processing of equipment engineering submittals.
  • Monitor engineering activity and project deliverables in terms of quality, cost, and time.
  • Collaborate with the products team to execute technical specifications reviews and optimization strategies for air side and water side products.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • High level of knowledge of HVAC equipment, including AHU, FCU, VAV boxes, Split systems, chillers, and primary & secondary pumping systems.
  • Solid understanding of the principles of large refrigeration systems and associated equipment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC equipment product selection, preparing design specifications, and quotations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform successfully in a multifunctional team environment.
