As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our databases.

  • Monitoring system alerts and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Performing daily database checks to prevent data loss or corruption
  • Controlling user access and managing grants to the database
  • Managing password changes and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Extracting code from the database as required
  • Supporting users with deployment in Dev/QA/Prod environments
  • Knowledge of backup and restore procedures
  • Monitoring database usage to optimize performance
  • Troubleshooting database issues and alerts
  • Participating in patching exercises to ensure database security

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1-year hands-on experience with Oracle database technology
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple tasks, with a strong commitment to deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to drill down into complex issues
  • A results-focused approach with a strong customer service ethos

This is a full-time, permanent role within our Engineering department, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Education: B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization or any postgraduate degree.
