Job Title: AI Engineer

Overview

Develop innovative large language models and high-performance search systems to drive automation in complex work processes. Collaborate with experts to design, build, and optimize cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI Product Development: Design and develop products that leverage the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs) and other recent advancements in foundation models.
  • High-Performance Search Systems: Build and optimize data indexing, ranking, and query processing systems for high-performance Search and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Evaluation Frameworks: Create robust frameworks to evaluate the performance of our agents, RAG systems, and various LLMs.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in Software Engineering or end-to-end Data Science, with strong proficiency in Python and data-oriented algorithms.
  • Strong background in either AI agents, data systems, or machine learning engineering.
  • Experience with modern Python microservices, including FastAPI, Ray.IO, Kubernetes orchestration, gRPC inter-service communication, and Google Cloud Pub/Sub event streaming.
  • Familiarity with AI Agent Stack, including LlamaIndex, LangGraph, SmolAgent, Instructor, Anthropic, OpenAI, Qdrant, ParadeDB, and Sentence-Transformers.
  • Recent demonstrated experience in building agents, training and evaluating emerging LLMs, building RAG systems, or working with vector databases.
  • Familiarity with our core technologies, including Ray, Postgres, Iceberg, Google Cloud, and Docker/Kubernetes/Helm.
