Transportation Management Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to support the design, implementation, and optimization of transportation solutions using Oracle OTM.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle OTM modules and a strong understanding of supply chain and logistics.

  • Configure, implement, and support Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into OTM functional and technical designs.
  • Lead and participate in OTM implementation projects including planning, testing, training, and deployment.
  • Customize and optimize OTM workflows, agents, and reports based on client or business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including supply chain, logistics, and IT teams to ensure effective transportation execution and visibility.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the OTM system, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Perform data migration, integration (with ERP/WMS systems), and validation tasks.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OTM features and Oracle Cloud Transportation.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Transportation Management (Cloud or On-Premise) is needed.
  • Experience with OTM modules: Order Management, Shipment Planning, Execution, Rate Management, Freight Settlement is preferred.
  • Familiarity with logistics processes: TL, LTL, parcel, ocean, air is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
