Purchase Executive

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage end-to-end procurement of electrical items. The ideal candidate will source products at the right cost, on time, and as per technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify Vendors: Evaluate and finalize vendors for electrical products (cables, switchgears, panels, etc.).
  • Negotiate Terms: Negotiate with vendors for best pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Review Technical Documents: Review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) to ensure purchases align with project needs.
  • Maintain Vendor Relationships: Maintain vendor lists, develop new suppliers, and conduct quality assurance audits.
  • Coordinate Logistics: Coordinate with project teams for dispatches, tracking, and resolving delays or discrepancies.
  • Manage Procurement Records: Manage accurate procurement records (quotations, POs, payments, approvals).
Qualifications & Experience:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading company is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication is necessary.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills are essential.
