IT Technical Support Engineer/ Poster Designer Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic IT Technical Support Engineer to lead our school's academic vision and drive excellence across the institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Poster Designing: Develop designs using tools like Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • System Administration: Manage servers, network equipment, and other IT infrastructure components to ensure a reliable and secure operational environment
  • Network Management: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the school's network infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks
  • Hardware Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair hardware issues, including component replacement, system assembly disassembly, and understanding computer hardware architecture
  • Software Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot software conflicts, resolve operating system errors, and handle application-specific issues
  • Network Configuration & Troubleshooting: Showcase experience with network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting, including understanding of network protocols, security, and troubleshooting tools
  • User Account Management: Create and manage user accounts for students and staff on various systems
  • Staying Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest IT technologies and trends to ensure the school's systems are current and efficient
  • Collaboration: Work with other school staff, including teachers and administrators, to integrate technology into the learning environment
  • Project Management: Manage IT-related projects, such as implementing new software or hardware
  • Web Design: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design principles
  • Motion Graphics: Skills in creating animations and video content

This role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology and a minimum 1-3 years of work experience. The ideal candidate should be able to commute reliably or relocate before the start date.
