Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

 

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials received and monitoring in-process production to maintain compliance with defined standards.

 

Role Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for inspecting and verifying incoming raw materials, components, and parts against specifications and purchase orders. They will also prepare inspection reports and escalate any deviations found.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and verify incoming raw materials, components, and parts against specifications and purchase orders.
  • Prepare inspection reports and escalate any deviations found.
  • Participate in First Article Inspections (FAI) and sample approval processes.

 

In-Process Quality Control:

  • Conduct in-process quality checks across production stages to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Identify real-time defects or process deviations and initiate immediate corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to quality checkpoints and control plans on the shop floor.

 

Coordination & Problem Solving:

  • Collaborate with production supervisors and operators for smooth implementation of quality standards.
  • Lead or support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) for defects or non-conformities.
  • Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of quality inspection methods, gauging techniques, and measurement tools.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

 

Preferred Industry Background:

Automobile / Auto Components Engineering / Fabrication / Manufacturing setups with strong QC procedures
