Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

You are a results-driven and detail-oriented professional with experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management. Your goal is to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SOP Development & Process Compliance
    • Draft, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and internal standards to ensure operational procedures meet regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement (CI) & Project Management
    • Identify and execute CI projects focused on process optimization in procurement, logistics, and warehousing to reduce overall Supply Chain Cost Spend.
    • Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to address root causes and drive measurable improvements.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting
    • Analyse and report on core supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as lead time, On-Time-In-Full (OTIF), inventory turns, and supplier performance.
    • Build dashboards and advanced analytical reports using Excel, Power BI, or other relevant tools.
  • Procurement & Supplier Management
    • Support procurement of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), excipients, and packaging materials, ensuring quality compliance and supplier performance.
    • Drive vendor evaluation, qualification, and timely material availability at the site.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Production, and Planning teams to ensure seamless batch scheduling and material flow.
    • Support audits with accurate documentation and supply chain evidence.

What We Require:

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in pharmaceutical supply chain or similar regulated industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Technology (B Tech)/Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B Pharma) or Master's Business Administration (MBA) with focus on Supply Chain Operations is a plus.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Strong command of MS Excel including pivot tables, formulas, and reporting.
  • Project management experience with ability to lead cross-functional projects.
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP) and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
