Job Title: Senior Backend Developer. Join a team to build a comprehensive digital real estate platform in Dubai, integrating AI/ML, data analytics, Web3/blockchain, and conversational AI.

  • Work as the principal architect on this project.
  • Develop the robust server-side logic for a complex initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure RESTful APIs to serve all frontend clients (web, iOS, Android).
  • Build the core business logic for all platform features, including user authentication, property management (CRUD), search algorithms, and monetization systems (subscriptions, payments).
  • Manage the platform's database schema (PostgreSQL), ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
  • Lead the integration of numerous third-party services, including payment gateways (e.g., Stripe), mapping services (Google Maps), messaging APIs (Twilio), and virtual tour providers.
  • Collaborate with the AI/ML team to build the data pipelines and API endpoints necessary to support features like recommendation engines and automated property valuations.
  • Work with the Web3 team to integrate backend services with blockchain platforms for tokenization and cryptocurrency payment gateways.
  • Implement robust security and data protection measures in line with international standards.
  • Mentor junior backend developers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Design and implement a scalable, service-oriented or microservices-based architecture to support long-term growth and feature expansion.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
  • Expert proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language and framework.
  • Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.
  • Deep expertise in relational database design and management, particularly with PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and deploying applications in a cloud environment.
  • Solid understanding of software security principles and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
