We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our end-to-end accounting, management reporting, and financial/tax processes. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global financial services group with a long-standing track record of profitability.

  • P&L Analysis and Risk Assessment: Own P&L analysis, product risk assessment, and financial accounting/reporting, including month-end close and statutory reporting.
  • Auditor Relationships and Compliance: Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure compliance with finance control standards.
  • Process Improvement and Automation: Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives across reporting functions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of product controllers, fostering independence and accountability.
  • Project Delivery: Deliver on key projects and support strategic initiatives within finance and product control.

Requirements and Experience:

  • Hold a Qualified CA, CFA, or MBA degree with 10–13 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements, particularly those applicable to the banking industry.
  • Prior experience in product control, finance control, investment banking middle office, financial services, equity research, or stockbroking.
  • Showcase demonstrated leadership experience with proven ability to build and mentor teams.
  • Exhibit a strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy, risk awareness, and continuous improvement.
