Visual Designer Position

Job Summary:

QED42 is looking for an experienced and skilled visual designer to join our team. As a visual designer at QED42, you will be responsible for creating stunning visual content that effectively communicates the brand's message and resonates with our audience.

  • Create visually appealing designs that align with the company's brand guidelines and style
  • Develop motion graphics, short videos, and micro-interactions using Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro
  • Build templates and scalable, reusable assets that other teams can use independently
  • Design for events and print materials, from trade show booths to offline experiences
  • Collaborate with marketing and UX/UI designers on visual elements, mockups, and screens
  • Use GenAI as part of your workflow where it improves speed or clarity, without replacing the craft

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong grasp of design principles and fundamentals: typography, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy
  • Confidence working in Figma and Illustrator, or equivalent tools
  • Working knowledge of After Effects or Premiere Pro
  • A portfolio that showcases range across brands, products, and motion is a bonus
  • The ability to take a loose brief or abstract idea and turn it into something clear and usable
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX is helpful but not essential
