Job Title: Occupational Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the implementation of comprehensive safety policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting regular inspections, maintaining equipment records, and managing all documentation related to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S). This role plays a key part in preparing for and participating in both internal and external audits, as well as conducting vital safety awareness training for employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policy Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies to ensure a secure workplace environment.
  • Inspections & Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintain equipment records to identify potential hazards and ensure safe operation.
  • Documentation & Review: Perform monthly reviews of OH&S documents to ensure all records are up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
  • Audit Management: Prepare EMS OH&S Internal & External Audit documents, working closely with relevant teams to achieve successful audit outcomes.
  • Training & Awareness: Conduct Safety awareness training for employees to foster a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an EHS Officer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of safety policies and procedures.
  • Experience in conducting inspections and maintaining equipment records.
  • Familiarity with EMS and OH&S Internal & External Audit processes and documentation.
  • Experience in delivering safety awareness training.
Skills:
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating safety risks.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills for policy dissemination and training delivery.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to maintain high safety standards.
