Senior Web Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Development Manager to lead our web development team and oversee full-cycle projects aligned with our company goals.

  • Manage, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional team of developers and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
  • Architect and develop scalable web applications using PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter) and WordPress to meet business needs.
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring quality, timeliness, and effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Implement best practices in coding, architecture, and project management to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and performance evaluations to ensure team growth and improvement.
  • Effectively manage resources, timelines, and communication between internal teams and external clients.
  • Utilize project management methodologies (e.g., PMP) to track deliverables, manage risks, and drive success.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on PHP and WordPress.
  • Proven experience in leading web development teams and managing complex projects.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in one or more PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress (custom themes, plugins, multisite, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git), deployment tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an agency or client-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with hosting environments and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Agile/Scrum project management experience.
