Job Summary

\

This role involves designing, configuring, programming, installing, and troubleshooting HVAC controls and electrical SCADA systems in data centers.

\

Key Responsibilities

\
  • \
  • Develop project scope, schedule, budget, and level of efforts (LOE) for building management system (BMS) and power management projects.\
  • Manage scope, schedule, finance, and execution of BMS improvement projects in data centers.\
  • Assist in procurement activities including request for quotation/proposals, responding to requests for information, and reviewing vendor proposals.\
  • Support controls projects related commissioning activities in data centers.\
  • Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.\
  • Ensure designs and installations meet requirements such as predicted cooling, structural, and operational concerns.\
  • Develop data center vulnerability remediation playbooks for control system designs in conjunction with IT teams.\
  • Candidate Profile\
    • \
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.\
    • Excellent understanding of electrical and mechanical systems used in data centers, as well as controls/monitoring systems.\
    • Experience in designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting, or servicing HVAC controls and electrical SCADA systems application specific controllers, Building Management System (BMS) Controls software, and networks.\
    • Develop and modify controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces.\
    • Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements, and navigate challenging situations.\
    • Project coordination experience with multiple teams or vendors to meet project requirements for data centers.\
    • TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet, and/or MODBUS communication protocol experience.\
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.\
    • Knowledge of renewable resources and energy-efficient design is a plus.\
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.\
    • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.\
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.\
    • Results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.\\
