Job Title: Experienced Associate

Sikich seeks an Assurance professional with 1-3 years of experience. The candidate must be computer literate with prior experience in US GAAP general accounting and financial statement review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Timely identification of accounting issues, clearly documenting the facts and findings, and discuss with senior/Assistant Managers.
  • Work on a variety of different auditing projects.
  • Provide a review of work product and performance.
  • Be willing and able to service multiple client engagements at the same time.
  • Development of one-on-one relationships with US-based audit leads.
  • Ensuring that reports sent to clients are accurate and sent within scheduled timeframes.
  • Drive quality project deliverables.
  • Participate in Training and Development to hone skills of peers and self.
  • Build internal auditing systems and ensure their correct application.
  • Ensure the organization is compliant with current legislation and best practices.
  • Verify company financial information.
  • Prepare audit reports and statements for review.
  • Knowledgeably answer client audit queries in good time.
Requirements for Successful Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent qualification with relevant experience. Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
  • Self-motivated individual with strong work ethic.
  • Organizational skills to provide timely delivery of client reports.
  • Proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other US accounting systems.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possesses combination of problem-solving and innovation skills.
