Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for interfacing between the finance function and the controllership teams to close MIS and optimize costs of various functions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling skills, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is desired, but not required.

  • This role requires a deep understanding of business operations, cost drivers, and other organizational functions.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing processes for new initiatives, improving existing ones, and preparing, managing, and publishing business scorecards and MIS.
  • Daily tasks will include doing reconciliation of MIS and book of accounts to close Monthly MIS, creating weekly dashboards, and assisting with ad-hoc analysis on various projects as needed.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively manage stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement processes to improve governance and reduce cost leakage.
  • Create and maintain accurate and timely reports, including business scorecards and MIS.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and insights that can inform strategic decision-making.
  • Provide high-quality support to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of experience post-CA qualification.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and good business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong financial modeling and PowerPoint skills.
  • Previous experience in FP&A is desired, but not required.
