**Job Title:** Director of Clinical Data and Analytics

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of clinical systems, leveraging data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Lead the development of the product roadmap, driving strategic prioritization and governance through collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Oversee the management of technical teams, ensuring efficient development, deployment, and operational support for clinical data capabilities.
  • Design and implement robust data foundations, including new interfaces, workflows, and data models, to facilitate effective clinical data reporting.
  • Leverage innovative AI/ML and cloud technologies to address clinical operations needs and shape the vision for the R&D software ecosystem.
  • Mentor a high-performing team, championing diversity and embedding global best practices within a local and international context.
  • Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams to ensure alignment across global operations, driving operational excellence in a matrixed organization.

**Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree with experience in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field OR Bachelor's degree with experience in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field OR Diploma with experience in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing technology initiatives and teams with a track record of successful innovation.
  • Experience in people management and leading matrixed teams, with a passion for mentorship, culture, and fostering talent development.
  • Experience with data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization solutions such as Tableau and Spotfire.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of industry, therapy, and product.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience in a leadership role within a pharmaceutical or technology organization.
  • Extensive experience in the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience using and adopting Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Broad working knowledge of key IS domains and layers.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for Clinical Trials (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, ICH).
  • Proven expertise in managing product Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), budgets, and forecasts to align with organizational goals.
  • Experience with AI/ML and cloud technologies to innovate, optimize processes, and enhance system integrations.
