Senior Clinical Data Scientist

The primary role of this position is to provide technical support and guidance to clinical study teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data management processes, programming languages, and systems development lifecycle.
This individual will be responsible for coordinating and providing programming support to clinical study teams. They will also work collaboratively with clinical data management to meet study deliverables and timelines.
In addition, the successful candidate will act as a technical point of contact for systems deliverables on defined programs. This includes experience in writing data acquisition requirements specifications (DARS) documents, setting up and testing RWS integration requirements, and configuring data upload gateways between external vendors and Amgen.
The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge base and work experience in data management/programming in the pharmaceutical or biotech arena. They will also possess general project management and planning experience, as well as experience in oversight of outside vendors (CROs, central labs, imaging vendors, IRT vendors, etc.).
