Job Description:

GlobalLogic is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their team working on a major software project providing IoT solutions to various industries.


Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement quality assurance processes
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data validation
  • Design automated tests to ensure data integrity across data pipelines and ETL processes
Data Validation and Testing:
  • Perform data validation and verification on data pipelines to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Identify, document, and track data quality issues and work with engineering teams to resolve them
Performance Monitoring:
  • Monitor and analyze data pipeline performance and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
  • Implement monitoring tools and techniques to continuously assess the health of data systems
Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to understand data requirements and ensure proper data validation
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide feedback on data standards and best practices
Documentation:
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of quality processes, test cases, and results
  • Document data lineage and maintain dictionaries to support governance efforts
