We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications. As a hands-on automation expert, you will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
Your responsibilities will include executing regression, functional, integration, and performance tests, identifying, logging, and tracking defects, and working closely with developers to resolve issues.
You will also collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage, enhance and optimize automation frameworks for scalability and reusability, and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments.
Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices in testing, generating and sharing detailed test reports and metrics, and possessing strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a quality-focused mindset.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or similar
- Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
- Experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Understanding of databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
This position requires excellent communication and documentation skills, ability to work independently and in a collaborative Agile team, and proficiency in using version control systems like Git.
OthersBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, 2–5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in test automation, ISTQB or relevant QA certifications (preferred).
