Job Description:
This role will provide an organized and proactive administration support in responding to different HR queries and issues by acting as the first point of contact for all employees contacting the People team throughout the employee life cycle.
Responsibilities:
- To deliver excellent customer service to the business ensuring accuracy and efficiency with responses.
- To support with the onboarding of new starters through sending offers of employment, setting them up on the electronic HR system and filing of personnel related documents, onboarding & inductions, conducting right to work and background verification checks, ensuring all payroll documents are provided and monitoring probation progress.
- To be the first line support for employees and line managers with general queries and advice on policies, escalating to the VP/Head of People/People Business Partner where required.
- To own incoming queries in the People shared inbox for the business area and categorizing where appropriate.
- To provide HR related inputs for payroll processing purposes to the Finance team/payroll vendor.
Requirements:
- Must have 4 years of experience on US Federal and State Labor Laws and Regulations, to ensure company compliance.
- Benefits Administration: Managing employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Payroll Processing: Sharing inputs for accurate and timely payroll processing, including deductions and tax withholdings.
- Experience in working with Workday.
- Should be flexible to work in overlapping work hours for India and US.
