About the RoleThe successful candidate will partner with and own an ensemble of talented designers to design and craft experiences for our flagship video product across all of Adobe's Creative Cloud platform. We're looking for a natural leader who can inspire, organize, and nurture a team to create inviting, simple, and accessible experiences for the modern, connected world.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with Product, Research, Engineering, and Marketing teams to define key objectives and identify impactful features to build.
- Champion an environment of creativity, ingenuity, and forward-thinking to build valuable solutions for users.
- Lead and strengthen a team of designers to craft innovative and compelling experiences.
- Build a collaborative environment that encourages deep partnership with cross-functional teams and sets a high bar for design craft.
- Represent the team as you influence design and cross-functional leaders.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 10+ years of experience in the product design industry, launching products that delight, innovate, and scale by turning complex problems into simple engaging customer experiences.
- 5+ years of people management and leadership experience, with a track record of success in hiring, training, and developing designers ranging from junior talent to highly experienced individual contributors.
- Experience helping your team conduct research, present results, and develop plans to align design decisions with user insights and business objectives.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
