Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to own test automation end-to-end, UI, APIs, and pipelines.

  • The ideal candidate will write real code, ship clean tests, kill flaky ones, and keep us shipping fast without breaking stuff.
Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Building UI test flows with Playwright.
  • Automating backend/API tests using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
  • Writing smoke tests, regression suites, kill switches, sanity checks.
  • Wire it all into GitHub pipelines for auto-validation.
  • Debugging failing builds, isolating bugs, logging them fast and sharp.
  • Synchronizing with developers, product managers, and releases to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Maintaining test data and managing test environment.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with modern UI automation tools.
  • A solid understanding of API testing, version control, and test lifecycle.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Proficiency in writing, maintaining, and debugging automated test scripts.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (K6, JMeter) is a plus.
  • Exposure to testing AI/ML-based systems would be nice to have.
