We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Expert to join our team in Bengaluru. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our legal strategies and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

About the Role

  • You will be responsible for providing legal counsel on regulatory and compliance matters specific to the IT/ITeS sector, ensuring alignment with corporate governance standards and legal frameworks.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents will be an essential part of your job, minimizing legal risks for our organization.
  • You will provide risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate legal risks, protecting our business from potential disputes.
  • In case of legal disputes, you will support the resolution process and collaborate with external legal advisors when necessary.
  • You will monitor changes in legislation and advise on their potential impact on our business, ensuring proactive risk management.
  • Ensuring adherence to corporate governance standards and legal frameworks, maintaining a culture of compliance will be one of your key responsibilities.
  • You will provide training and guidance to internal teams on legal policies and procedures, promoting a culture of accountability.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives, driving growth and success will be your ultimate goal.

Requirements

  • A degree in law or equivalent qualifications relevant to the legal field is mandatory.
  • 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in handling legal matters within the IT/ITeS industry is required.
  • Experience in a Software Product industry is essential for this role.
