Financial Trainee">

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Financial Trainee. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the financial functions, including accounts payable, and assisting associates in identifying and implementing improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, with relevant experience in the accounts payable process. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase orders, non-purchase orders, e-invoices, and other financial transactions in accordance with established procedures.

Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports and recording entries.

Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports.

Allocate inflow volume to respective team members on a daily basis.

Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos.

Process travel and expense reports of employees by receiving and verifying expense reports for advances and receipts.

Good knowledge of Excel reports like Pivot table, formulas, formatting, and cleansing data.

Resolving queries like wrong posting, reversal, and corrections.

Support team members in processing corrections by clarifying their doubts and confusions.

Ensure SOPs are reviewed frequently and the latest updates are incorporated post-client signoff.

Maintain 100% accuracy of invoice processing and monthly reports.

Report taxes while processing region-specific invoices as per the requirement.

Understanding of Helpdesk operations would be an added advantage.

Requirements">
  • University graduate in any discipline.
Preferred Requirements">
  • Bachelor/Master of Commerce or Business Administration.

Relevant work experience in AP preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.

Sound knowledge of written and spoken English.

Practical knowledge of SAP preferred.

Practical knowledge of Reporting and Service Now preferred.

Understanding of Source to Pay process is a plus.

Excellent time management and planning skills.

Attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
