Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive cybersecurity expert to design, implement, and maintain robust security measures to safeguard our systems, networks, and data. The ideal candidate will be experienced in threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy comprehensive security solutions to protect IT infrastructure, applications, and sensitive information.
  • Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, anomalies, and potential threats.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain incident response plans; lead response to security incidents.
  • Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies to minimize security risks.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, virtual private networks, and other security tools.
  • Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into DevSecOps practices and ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA) and maintain accurate security documentation.
  • Educate employees and developers on cybersecurity awareness and secure coding practices.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong understanding of network, application, and cloud security concepts.
  • Experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Splunk, Tenable, Qualys, Wireshark, etc.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or GIAC.
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience in Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
  • Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust Architecture.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive security measures to ensure robust cybersecurity across the organization. Your strong understanding of network, application, and cloud security concepts, combined with your experience in threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management, will enable you to effectively identify and mitigate potential security risks.

With a strong focus on collaboration, you will work closely with IT, DevOps, and Compliance teams to ensure that security is integrated into every aspect of our operations. Your expertise in security frameworks, regulatory compliance, and security best practices will also enable you to develop and maintain incident response plans, configure and manage security tools, and educate employees and developers on cybersecurity awareness and secure coding practices.
