About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team for a critical project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automation, monitoring, and managing infrastructure across platforms such as cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python, Bash, and Go to streamline infrastructure setup and operations.
  • Perform OS-level setup, configuration, and tuning (Linux/Unix/Windows) for servers and cloud instances.
  • Design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud environments across cloud platforms.
  • Work on infrastructure as code (IaC) for repeatable and scalable deployments.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based services and applications.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to enable efficient CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot issues across infrastructure, cloud, and monitoring stacks.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of processes, system configurations, and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Go Lang for automation and tooling.
  • OS Administration: Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system internals, networking, and performance tuning.
  • Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with cloud solutions.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Strong expertise in Grafana, Prometheus, and alert management.
  • Ci/Cd & Automation: Familiarity with Jenkins, Git Lab Ci/Cd, or similar tools.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex distributed systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with logging stacks (ELK, Loki, or similar).
  • Experience in networking concepts (DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, VPC).
  • Prior exposure to enterprise-scale hybrid cloud architectures.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience). 8-10 years of relevant experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or System Administration roles.
