Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned SCADA expert to lead the design configuration and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting and implementing real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions.

The responsibilities include ensuring seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems, developing and maintaining secure data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols, managing industrial databases, SQL historian, timeseries databases for high availability and performance, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs.

Troubleshooting, optimizing, and supporting existing SCADAMES deployments to ensure minimal downtime is also necessary.

Mentoring junior engineers and promoting knowledge sharing across the engineering team is also required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience in SCADA, MES, and Ignition application development.

• Expertise in real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions.

• Ability to integrate OT systems with enterprise IT systems.

• Proficiency in REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols.

• Experience in managing industrial databases, SQL historian, timeseries databases.
