Senior Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Senior Quality Assurance Professional to join our team. As a key member of our QA group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

About the Role:

  • This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of technical expertise.
  • You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies.
  • In this role, you will also be expected to identify areas of improvement within our testing processes and implement changes as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Initiation: Collaborate with QA managers to initiate test phases, focusing on requirement analysis and test effort estimation.
  • Test Plan Review: Gain a deep understanding of project-specific business requirements and document questions for clarification.
  • Test Environment and Data Identification: Identify testable requirements, impacted applications, and processes, as well as test environment and data requirements.
  • Test Case Preparation: Prepare comprehensive test cases and participate in peer reviews, walkthroughs, and capture review comments.
  • Test Execution: Execute tests, mentor junior resources, and capture test results and log defects.
  • Defect Triage: Participate in defect triage and identify resolutions with the help of the build team.
  • Test Closure: Review traceability metrics, organize test artifacts, and update checklists.

Requirements:

  • Strong Experience: Testing Core Banking Systems.
  • Domain Knowledge: Working knowledge in BFSI domain - Core banking, Cards, Payments, and Lending.
  • Layer Testing Experience: Presentation layer, Web GUI, Mobile application, Logical layer, APIs, and Data layer.
  • Exposure: API testing tools, integration test tools, collaboration tools, and test/defect management tools.
