Job Opportunity:

  • Design and develop highly available and scalable systems, utilizing expertise in cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Develop performance optimization strategies for applications and infrastructure, leveraging tools like Jmeter/LoadRunner, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic.
  • Implement monitoring and observability tools to ensure system reliability and uptime, including Splunk, Prometheus, Fluentd, ELK, Telegraf, Influx, Grafana.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand SRE requirements, drive implementation and team building.
  • Establish and document performance baselines, thresholds and SLAs for critical applications, and develop capacity planning models.
  • Design high availability architectures with failover and recovery mechanisms, provide hands-on experience of working on RFPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Reliability: Proactively identify and mitigate potential system vulnerabilities through chaos engineering.
  • SLIs, SLOs and error budgets: Define Service Level Indicators, Service Level Objectives.
  • Applications Debugging and Support: Understand REST APIs and debug applications efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, coding standards and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, automation across applications/services and infrastructure management.
  • Excellent communication and business presentation skills to articulate technical concepts.
