Trade Surveillance Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the integrity of trading activities by detecting and preventing any fraudulent or malicious behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze trade data to identify unusual patterns or suspicious transactions across various markets and platforms.
  • Conduct in-depth investigations into potential violations and escalate findings to relevant compliance teams.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for regulatory authorities, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all submissions.
  • Collaborate closely with compliance, legal, and trading teams to address issues and provide solutions.
  • Remain up-to-date on evolving regulations and best practices in trade surveillance, applying knowledge to enhance internal processes.
  • Recommend improvements to surveillance systems and processes to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in trade surveillance, compliance, or financial analysis, with a strong understanding of financial markets and instruments.
  • Exceptional analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends.
  • Proficiency in trade surveillance tools and software, as well as excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Strong educational foundation in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
