Payment Domain Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our Production Support Team as a Payment Domain Support Specialist. This role is responsible for ensuring the uptime and stability of critical banking applications, including UPI and retail banking platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Application and Production Support: Provide Level 2/3 support for digital payment systems, including UPI and retail banking platforms.
  • Monitoring and Incident Management: Monitor application health, system alerts, and perform incident management to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Root Cause Analysis and Problem Resolution: Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and drive long-term solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with development, QA, infrastructure, and vendor teams for issue resolution and change implementation.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document support procedures, run books, and incident reports.
  • Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure compliance with ITIL practices including incident, problem, and change management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 8-11 years of experience in application support, production support, or IT operations.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience supporting UPI platforms, retail banking applications, and payment gateways. Strong understanding of banking protocols and digital payment workflows. Proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux commands, log analysis, and scripting (Shell/Python preferred).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with a strong sense of urgency. Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
