Job Title: Senior VMware Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT professional with a strong background in managing and optimizing VMware virtualization platforms and Windows Server environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across virtual and physical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions using VMware and Windows Server technologies.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security across virtual and physical systems.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerShell and PowerCLI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in VMware and Windows Server administration.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in VMware and Windows Server administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and NSX.
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory, GPOs, DNS/DHCP, and Windows Server roles.
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, PowerCLI) for automation and reporting.
  • Experience with backup and recovery tools (e.g., Veeam, Commvault).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).

Preferred Certifications:

  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV)
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • ITIL Foundation or Intermediate
