We are seeking a data architect with expertise in cloud development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create scalable data pipelines and products using cloud-native platforms.
  • Develop and optimize ELT/ETL processes using various tools and technologies.
  • Sustain data models that drive operational and analytical workloads.
  • Build, deploy, and manage cloud-native data solutions using AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena, Step Functions).
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
  • Evaluate scalability, resilience, and compliance of AWS-based data platforms.
  • Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Contribute to the data platform modernization roadmap and support new product delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering or equivalent technical role.
  • 5+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud Development & DevOps experience.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Deep experience with Oracle (PL/SQL, performance tuning, data extraction).
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (networking, security, cost optimization).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with modern orchestration frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
  • Exposure to data cataloging, governance, and quality tools.
