About the Role

We're seeking a Sr. Copywriter to work on & oversee digital content for Target's website. You will collaborate with art directors, site merchants, project managers & business councils to copy for several of our brands across different categories.

You'll be required to come up with innovative, eye-catching work that is in line with the Target brand, increasing guest loyalty and driving sales. This role may also involve managing a team of junior writers, mentoring them, and guiding them on the voice and tone of copy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write content for Target's website in categories like Home, Grocery, Clothing, Deals or loyalty marketing.
  • Multi-task effortlessly juggling several projects across various business categories, making quick decisions to meet project deadlines.
  • Collaborate & brainstorm with creative teams on concepting and writing copy.
  • Manage multiple projects, balance timelines, and present work at various forums.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience at an Advertising agency.
  • A completed 3-year college degree.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating breadth of UX writing capabilities, particularly in retail.
  • An excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
