Job Summary:

Cybersecurity professionals play a critical role in protecting medical devices from threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents. This position involves leading post-market security investigations, coordinating vulnerability response and remediation activities, performing risk assessments, and impact analyses in alignment with industry standards.

About the Role:

  • Lead post-market security investigations to identify and mitigate potential threats
  • Coordinate vulnerability response and remediation activities to ensure medical device safety
  • Perform risk assessments and impact analyses to inform cybersecurity decisions
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop and deploy security patches and updates
  • Maintain and improve post-market surveillance processes for cybersecurity
  • Support regulatory submissions and audits related to post-market cybersecurity
  • Contribute to security incident response planning and execution
  • Engage with external researchers and coordinate responsible disclosure processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field
  • Six years of general Cybersecurity experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Three years of Product Security experience preferably in medical devices in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Three years of Vulnerability Management experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Three years of Cybersecurity Process Development experience
  • Experience assessing and improving cybersecurity maturity using industry frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with IT, business partners, and working with internal and external audits
  • Master's degree in an Information Technology field from an accredited institution
  • Proven experience in evaluating and advancing organizational cybersecurity maturity aligned with industry frameworks
  • Three years of Medical Device Post-Market Experience
  • Familiarity with global healthcare data privacy and security regulations
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
