Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: You will build strong relationships with client stakeholders by helping them manage and resolve various operational issues.
  • Consulting Services: Conduct interviews with key stakeholders to develop a current state assessment, evaluate against industry leading standards to suggest savings opportunities/operational improvements.
  • Analysis and Research: Analyze client spend data and create project deliverables, conduct in-depth research into various markets and industries.
  • Process Improvement: Develop process maps, identify gaps and recommend improvement opportunities.
  • RFP Development: Collaborate with client stakeholders to draft and release RFPs.
  • Supplier Selection: Support client stakeholders as well as suppliers during the bid evaluation and supplier selection process.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop financial models (TCO) to understand the true cost of owning a particular good/service, present to key decision makers/stakeholders.
  • Negotiation Strategy: Evaluate suppliers- pricing proposal to identify cost reduction levers and draft negotiation strategy presentations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-4 years of prior experience in a consulting firm or industry. Specific experience within operations, supply-chain and/or procurement is required.
  • Culture Fit: Excited about working in a start-up atmosphere, comfortable with ambiguity and have an ownership-driven mindset.
  • Skills: Proven problem-solving and time management ability, Excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills, Highly motivated team player with the ability to work autonomously and utilize presentation and interpersonal skills daily.
  • Tech Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite: including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (ability to create complex formulas and analyze large data sets).
