Job Title: Senior Cloud AI Engineer

Join our innovative team as a Senior Cloud AI Engineer to drive the development and deployment of cutting-edge cloud-based technologies and services. We are seeking an experienced professional with a passion for technology and a strong background in software engineering, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based AI solutions that meet business needs.
  • Partner with product development teams to implement best practices and optimize performance of cloud applications.
  • Participate in the analysis of new SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS services, then develop automation and solutions to support their use at enterprise scale.
  • Manage cloud service product/feature upgrades, including testing and release planning.
  • Research new AI and cloud technologies and assess their maturity and alignment with business and technology strategy.
  • Evaluate and incorporate enterprise-grade security features as standard components of the service offerings we produce, in alignment with our information security policies.
  • Prepare and present high-quality technical and non-technical documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across various levels and departments.
  • Evaluate and communicate risk as a top consideration for all solutions and changes made on behalf of customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent level of experience.
  • Previous experience in software or cloud engineering and development is required.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and C# is an asset.
  • AWS Cloud experience, preferably with certifications like Cloud Practitioner and higher AWS certification.
  • Azure Cloud experience, preferably with certifications like AZ-900 or AI-900 and higher Azure certification.
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, non-relational databases, search technologies, vector capabilities, and other AI functions.
  • Strong passion for technology and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Self-motivation, self-direction, and ability to apply technical direction to specific work responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills.
