Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will play a vital role in managing overnight front desk and accounting tasks. You will act as the primary contact for late-night guests and handle check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with exceptional professionalism and courtesy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests warmly and efficiently during overnight hours.
  • Handle reservations and arrange for amenities like wake-up calls, taxis, and shuttle services with a focus on delivering excellent service.
  • Assist guests, VIPS, and VVIPS in a friendly, proactive, and efficient manner, providing personalized attention and follow-up as necessary.
  • Post room charges and taxes to guest accounts and process invoices accurately and promptly.
  • Balance cash drawers, process credit card transactions, and verify receipts to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Track key financial metrics such as room occupancy rates and revenues to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare end-of-day reports and summary cash balances for hotel management, providing clear and concise insights into financial performance.
  • Verify the completion of end-of-day tasks by previous shifts to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments like housekeeping and maintenance to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Oversee the hotel safe and ensure the security of guest valuables, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Audit and reconcile the hotel's daily financial accounts, including revenue, charges, and payments, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Provide pre-arrival support for guests arriving on packages, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with all essential aspects of hotel operations, embracing ongoing learning and development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of front desk experience at a managerial level, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong basic math and accounting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in MS Office, PMS, and IDS software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues alike.
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills, with a focus on prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or a related field, with a solid understanding of hospitality principles and practices.
