Job Description

As a Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in project delivery.

You will work under the supervision of a senior or project engineer to execute various functions and ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop feasibility study reports that meet brief requirements and review them with relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the team to create a design specification compliant with employer's requirements.
  • Agree and monitor scope of works with relevant stakeholders.
  • Define building requirements and purpose of use with relevant stakeholders and team members to enable detailed design.
  • Conduct detailed design to WSP and B Regulations standard.
  • Review and monitor calculations including QA and technical reviews.
  • Ensure information for project costing preparation is completed in requisite detail and to deadlines.
  • Provide documentary information to assist in tender document preparation.
  • Coordinate project contracts documents and review input from team members.
  • Address day-to-day queries from the team and ensure relevant information is available on time.
  • Report any variance between constructed works and design intent.
  • Project manage commissions using applicable tools.
  • Lead the design process and encourage team members to deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Adhere to document control, archiving CDM, and QA processes.
  • Raise technical competence levels within teams.
  • Implement delivery and quality measurement processes.
  • Promote technical excellence in all projects.
Technical Skills
  • Proven experience in building structure design.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in technical structural software such as RAM, CSC, ETABSs, and SAFE.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project.
  • Fluency in English with an excellent understanding of technical terminology.
