Job Overview

This role involves providing technical leadership in designing, deploying, and maintaining Mizuho IT Infrastructure. Key responsibilities include hands-on engineering, stakeholder coordination, and overseeing infrastructure projects for scalability, security, and high availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing scalable and secure infrastructure solutions
  • Evaluating and implementing new technologies to improve performance and reduce costs
  • Leading infrastructure projects across networking, servers, storage, and cloud
  • Serving as a subject matter expert (SME) for Windows/Linux environments, virtualization, and backup/recovery systems
  • Providing mentorship to infrastructure engineers and support teams
  • Ensuring high availability of core infrastructure services including compute, storage, and network
  • Defining and enforcing configuration standards, patching cycles, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Overseeing incident and problem resolution for infrastructure issues
  • Collaborating with application, security, and network teams on integrated solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with IT policies, regulatory standards, and audit controls
