Job Summary:

Vedanta's Aluminium Business is a leading aluminium producer at 2.3 million tonnes per annum.

The Bauxite and Coal mines vertical plays a crucial role in this endeavour, being strategically poised to create value for the aluminium business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop resource models, optimize pits, and schedule mining operations.
  • Prepare detailed project reports for mining blocks.
  • Compile mining plans (statutory and operational).
  • Conduct feasibility studies, coordinate HEMM requirements, and undertake exploration programmes.
  • Liaise with statutory bodies for clearances and approvals.
  • Provide data inputs for environmental and forest clearances.

We seek passionate professionals with:
60% and above education records, B.Tech / M.Tech in Mining Engineering, 10+ years of experience preferably in similar roles, knowledge of project planning tools, leadership in mining approvals and operations, strong understanding of statutory clearances and government guidelines.
