Our team seeks a seasoned Investment Accounting Manager to join our Family Office division. This role is critical for ensuring accurate investment accounting and providing expert support with complex entries and reconciliations.

About the Position

This role requires an experienced Investment Accounting Manager with hands-on expertise in both investment and general ledger accounting, as well as a deep understanding of consolidated concepts and private equity accounting.

Required Skillset

The ideal candidate will have at least 9 years of experience in US accounting with:

  • General ledger accounting
  • Investment accounting (experience with platforms such as Sage, QBO, Geneva, Investran)
  • Consolidated accounting concepts (eliminating entries)
  • Private equity accounting
  • Wealth enterprise accounting (entity cost allocation)
  • Trust & foundation accounting
  • Basic tax treatments
  • Diverse experience in investment and personal accounting, especially for family enterprises
  • Experience in a reviewer role and staff/project management
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Experience

The preferred candidate will have:

  • Hands-on experience with both investment performance platforms (e.g., Black Diamond) and accounting systems (e.g., Sage, QBO)
  • Proven track record in investment accounting for family offices or similar environments
  • Ability to train and support staff on complex accounting entries and reconciliations
